National Public Safety Alliance for Individuals with Disabilities (NPS-AID) featured in the February 2026 edition of the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP)’s Police Chief Magazine.
The article, entitled “Inclusive Policing Through Innovation,” showcases the integrated approaches of two strategies launched through the collaborative impact of aligned stakeholders. The Blue Envelope program is a simple yet effective tool designed to improve outcomes during traffic stops for drivers with autism, while National Public Safety A.I.D. enhances emergency response outcomes for individuals with disabilities and special needs across a wide range of situations.
Being featured in Police Chief Magazine—the official publication of the IACP since 1934, with a global readership of more than 30,000 law enforcement professionals—is a tremendous honor. It amplifies the innovative ways we are strengthening public safety through inclusive policing and highlights our collaborative efforts to agencies worldwide.
