“The OPS Network has become an integral part of our department and community!” – Captain Adam McEvoy
This month we feature the Harrison Township Police Department in Gloucester County, NJ and had the honor to speak with HTPD Captain Adam McEvoy, one of the HTPD’s OPS Certified Master Administrators.
Captain McEvoy stated that since activating and fully engaging the OPS Network, the HTPD has seen a drastic increase in community engagement that is growing every day. The ease of use and flexibility of OPS has helped the HTPD build a strong online platform https://www.htpdnj.com/, a vast community camera network and connect with its media and community partners more efficiently – to name just a few of the successes.
In addition to the community engagement, the secure network side of OPS, which allows the HTPD to share agencywide information, while centralizing agency assets, has helped streamline operations and ensure transparency and efficiency for all members of the department.
Thank you to HTPD Chief Ronald Cundey, Captain McEvoy and the entire HTPD staff for your partnership and for supporting this rapidly growing network movement that is changing community policing and law enforcement collaboration across our nation.
