Transparent Partnership.
The OPS Network™ Community Interface was specifically developed to create an effective law enforcement partnership tool.
Simplistic Design.
With an easy to navigate layout, the OPS Network™ Community Interface is simple to use by all community members.
Always Connected.
Accessible from any device, anytime, all community members are connected with law enforcement 24/7.
Each OPS Network™ Community Interface is a modern day software solution and the public access point for each agency’s network. It serves as the portal that community members use to partner and interact with their law enforcement agencies.
Through the Community Interface (think website on rocket fuel), everyone is able to access vital tools and information and truly become part of their community’s public safety solution.
The OPS Network™ Community Interface places each community member on the same network that OPS Network™ agencies are operating from, creating a seamless and transparent partnership.
How Does It Work?
Each OPS Network™ agency manages a unique Community Interface within the global OPS Network™. The Community Interface is the open source side of the agency’s OPS Network™ and includes many of the same tools and resources law enforcement agencies are using. Each participating agency’s community has access to the network via the web, much like how they would access a public website. There are no logins required, all information shared is 100% secure and the network functions from any device, to include computers, laptops, tablets and smartphones.
Each OPS Network™ Community Interface is an interactive solution that encourages all community members to engage and partner with law enforcement from the local, county, state and federal levels. From each Community Interface, community members can:
Educate themselves and their community about:
- Use of Force Criteria (Why do officers use force?)
- Training Requirements (How are officers trained?)
- Internal Affairs Procedures (What happens if I have a concern?)
- Body Worn Camera (BWC) Use (How can they protect officers and citizens?)
- How to Interact with Law Enforcement (How can we keep officers and citizens safe?)
Connect with local, county, state and federal law enforcement:
- Express concerns with officer conduct, affording agencies the chance to address them early.
- Recognize officers for meritorious service and assist agencies with encouraging engaged officers.
- Receive direct alerts and important notifications.
- Play a role in your law enforcement agencies growth and advancement.
- Interact with law enforcement “real-time” by sharing ideas, thoughts and suggestions.
- Keep up to date “real-time” regarding community activity.
